Reuben - Welsh Springer Spaniel

I've had a soft spot for Spaniels of all shapes and sizes since I was a little girl, and I must say my heart melted when I first caught sight of Reuben, a beautiful male Welsh Springer!
 

Reuben's human wanted a portrait created as a gift from Reuben to his family... After looking through all the available photos, there was one in particular that depicted his happy, smily character. Although Reuben was stood at a jaunty angle, I was happy that it would make for a striking piece of artwork, and in fact helped to portray his fun loving nature further. 

It was a pleasure to create this piece, and I was overjoyed to receive very kind feedback from the client:-

"It has arrived today and is wonderful! Reuben is going to give it to the family as a surprise present from him!"
